The Alumni Coordinating Board (ACB) was established to assist and guide in the development of programs and support systems for the alumni of the University and for the strengthening of the relationship between the University and its alumni. The membership of this body comprises of the Chancellor of the University or his designee, the Provost as Chair, the Director of Institutional Advancement, the Dean Of Students, the Director of Alumni Affairs, the Director of Alumni Development, the presidents of the Alumni Associations and any others appointed by the Chancellor. A secretariat is appointed in the Office of Institutional Advancement to support the work of the ACB and the associations in their planning and development.
This board meets once per month to review the development and progress of each association and to hear their individual needs. It guides the associations through their representatives, in which case is the president or a designee and to continue to foster the relationship between the university and the alumni associations.
